Creel Lodge chill – went shopping for Advil, ibuprofen, walk by river by Judge’s Pool, used grill.

After the climb and a week of travel, it was a delight to relax, do laundry, and take A leisurly stroll along the river.  Cynthia’s hat blew away on Tongariro so we visited the Creel Tackle House where she found a perfect brimmed and vented hat with tie.  This is prime trout fishing country.  Even though the trout are not native they are extremely protected.  No where in New Zealand can you buy trout.  When we asked where we might get some trout we were told to go to the river and see if someone would give us one.  I asked the manager of the lodge and his wife gave us one!  We are hoping to eat it in wellington.
