Jim drives us to the Melbourne airport where we visit the food kiosks in the domestic departures terminal for the sixth and last time, this one on our way to Sydney.
David Williams (not the same person as in Melbourne and Sandy Point) and his wife Gaye greet us at the airport and we repair to their exquisitely renovated and appointed house — the oldest one on their block — and have wine and cheese through the afternoon before a brief ride to a nearby park next to Cook’s River. We amble about the park and return home for G&Ts and a lovely dinner.
Another day of long travel and renewed friendships In Oz.
